Leaks occurring due to pipeline damage, unauthorized tie-ins and excessive user consumption are the main factors contributing to unaccounted water consumption. Expert examination of water supply and discharge systems assists in resolving these issues.

CJSC ‘Pipe Networks Experts’ is a Russian-Dutch joint venture, which has successfully completed a number of projects aimed at reducing unaccounted consumption in water supply systems in the cities of Podolsk, Yaroslavl, Rostov-on-Don and Troitsk. A series of activities were conducted, including hydraulic simulation, preparation of water consumption and discharge balances, and inspections of trunk water lines and assigned distribution network areas. At present, the company provides long-term customer service and works in close cooperation with organizations in Moscow Region by assisting in detection of pipeline damage locations. For example, in the town of Vidnoe, during pressure testing of the heating network, our personnel identified 17 damage locations, which allowed the customer to substantially reduce excavation and landscaping costs.

The company has three mobile laboratories which are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment; provides water, sewage and heating line inspections; prepares water utility balances; performs flow rate measurements in pressure and gravity lines; locates leaks; and conducts video camera inspections with robotic equipment, as well as line cleaning services.
